Throughout history, thinkers and philosophers have been fascinated by the idea of perfection. Attempts to create an ideal government, society, or justice system have often failed, much like ships navigating tricky waters without a navigation system. The reason behind this universal struggle is the realization that the ideal is like a mirage, always out of reach. Despite our natural inclination toward idealism, we find ourselves in a world far from the perfect visions we imagine.

This mismatch between our desire for the ideal and the imperfect reality causes widespread unrest in society. It’s like a symphony where every instrument aims for harmony, but the harsh notes of reality disrupt the desired melody. People, driven by their idealistic beliefs, try to align their lives with their envisioned ideals, but the laws of nature, like dissonant chords, hinder their aspirations. Frustration becomes the prevailing tune, escalating into a cacophony of complaints, protests, and conflicts. The pursuit of an unattainable ideal can turn into a violent struggle, much like a relentless tempest against an unyielding sea.

To navigate this tumultuous human existence, accepting a practical approach becomes crucial. Picture it as a skilled captain steering a ship through stormy seas, understanding the need for a realistic course when the ideal destination is out of reach. Wisdom in this journey lies in finding contentment with practical goals, recognizing the limitations of the tools available in the imperfect voyage of life.
